Indeed music has evolved immensely from what it used to be. Based on research, a lot of people are of the opinion that when compared to the old days, music has lost its moral and lyrical content and has drifted away from its originality.
Music has become more superficial and highly enjoyed by the younger generation, who are more into the loud electronic beats rather than something with a more acoustic and subtle sound. Gone are the days when music sent messages and was about societal issues, now it s all about money, fancy cars, the best girls and other materialistic subjects.
The evolution of music is really a strong force to reckon with, as its now faster and requires a lot of energy. Most of the trendiest songs we all love are very fast and dancing to them as good as working-out. Music back then in the 80s to the 90s, was much slower or had a calmer flow to it. Music these days combines elements from other genres, giving it a very unique sound. Also some music cannot be listened to by all age groups, most especially kids due to some inappropriate contents. With this change, we can’t wait see what music will transform into, in the next couple of years.
